MEETINGS

Union meetings are normally held the 2nd wednesday of each month unless otherwise posted.

 



  The next meeting is scheduled for FEBRUARY 09, 2012.  ( Please be aware that the third shift meetings are coupled with the day shift meetings.  Also be aware that the times for the first and second shift meetings have been changed to correspond to the change in shift hours for the LLC.  The new times are 3:30 pm and 11:30 pm.




 Place: American Legion, 109 N. Broad St., second floor:  Lititz, PA




The following is a list ot the actions taken on the current grievances at the local's JANUARY Rank and File Meeting.  The membership maintains the power to move grievances on, or to drop action.  So come to the meetings, find out the details on all the issues, and exercise your voting power.  For privacy reasons, the names of the grievants have been reduced to initials only.  Having started in May, 2007,  the dues are now collected on a percentage basis on regular straight time pay.  This makes it far easier for union members to figure out if the company has deducted the correct amount.  It should also be easier for the company to compute the correct amounts.  The percentage basis was required as of 2011 with the Steelworkers.  Also at that time, the deduction was applied to overtime earnings.
